Heartland 2021 Safe Study Plan

Effective October 20, 2020 the Government of Canada allowed an exemption from travel restrictions for international students to enter Canada. Approved DLI schools with a COVID readiness plan can now accept international students. Heartland Winnipeg is on this list and ready to welcome students who are applying for full time study of 6 months or longer.

We are excited for students to once again be able to travel from overseas and come to study in Canada.

Safe Study Plan:

1. Choose a start date

The start date will be the first day that students will attend their online class during their mandatory 14 day quarantine period after entering Canada. After two weeks of online classes, students will finish their quarantine and be able to attend classes in person at the school for the duration of their program.

2. Decide the number of weeks

Minimum is 25 (6 months). Options of 5 weeks blocks can be added. For example, students can choose to study 25, 30, 25, 40, 45 or 50 weeks. See below for our All Inclusive Package option of 25 weeks!

3. Apply to Heartland 

Select Winnipeg as the location and Day Time, In-person studies to select the All Inclusive Package.
Heartland will send you:

• Letter of Acceptance
• Quarantine Accommodation options
• Other relevant documents

4. Pay fees (click here for information on fees and payment options)

5. Apply for Study Permit

All Inclusive Study Package starting at $14,375 CAD for 6 Month (25 weeks) Full-Time Intensive

Full Package Includes:

• 25 weeks of study
• Application and placement fee and textbooks
• Intensive Classes 25 hours/week
• Homestay with Canadian Family
• 14 Day Quarantine Planned by Heartland (includes meals)
• Airport Transport to Quarantine and Homestay
• Health Insurance with special COVID-19 coverage

• All fees are in Canadian dollars.
• Heartland’s 2021 Study Plan is available from January – June, 2021 and will be reassessed as the Canadian Government guidelines and quarantine restrictions may change.
• All classes are full time Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm
• Online placement test required before a student’s start date.
• Start dates are fixed as there is a limited number of seats per class available.
• Monthly Payment plans available. Minimum deposit required at time of application to Heartland.
• Quarantine Plan options will be explained upon application.
