Heartland International English School is launchinga new bursary program for permanent residents, refugees, and Canadian citizens. Heartland has created a bursary program offering a $1,500 bursary for up to 100 applicants. The $150,000 commitment is intended to support newcomers in Manitoba who are keen to improve their chances of success in Canada, but unable to access language training. This bursary is awarded based on financial needs and designed to assist individuals who face financial barriers and are unable to afford full tuition for English as a Second Language (ESL) programs.
Eligibility
You must be a Manitoba resident and permanent resident, Canadian citizen or refugee to apply.
You must complete an application form and a proof of status (PR card, passport, refugee travel document, etc.) will be asked during the bursary approval process.
Availability
We have 100 bursaries of $1500 CAD available. These bursaries will be awarded based on financial needs in a first come, first serve based. Only complete application will be considered for this awards.
The bursary can only be applied to a 10-week intensive course at Heartland Winnipeg, our regular price for a 10-week course is $3400. If approved for a bursary award your 10-week course will be $1900 CAD ($3400 CAD – $1500 CAD). An application fee of 125 CAD will be charged after the bursary is approved.
