Heartland students, staff and friends all had the extreme pleasure of enjoying a Fubuki Daiko performance Friday, April 17, as part of the Heartland Online Activities programming. The high energy duo played an incredible set of traditional Japanese Taiko songs for over 60 participants online. They also answered several questions from the audience as students were very interested in the history of Fubuki Daiko and their connection to Winnipeg. The group (normally consisting of 4 members) has been together for many years and typically performs around the city during festivals like Folklorama and at the Main Stage Cube in the Exchange District during the Fringe Festival. They have also traveled to many countries to share their music. Thank you Fubuki Daiko!
