Heartland Winnipeg regular programs are also available online. Semi-Intensive and Intensive for intermediate and advanced English level students.

Students follow the same schedule as our in person options, and spend the same number of hours in a virtual classroom with their teachers.

Benefits:
The Heartland Online Program is a fully immersive English experience. From the classroom to cultural activities available, all students in all levels of language learning will improve their ability. The Semi-Intensive and Intensive programs are available online and are open to Intermediate to Advanced levels.

Details:

• • Teachers use material from the textbook as well as external, supplemented exercises. Each teacher uses unique teaching methods and creates lesson plans specific to the level they are teaching.

 

• • For Full-time programs, there are two breaks in the day, one in the morning from 10:30am – 10:45am and one in the afternoon from 2:00pm – 2:10pm.

 

• • Friday afternoons are for the in-person activities, or get extra tutoring or homework help online.

 

• • Students take a placement test on the Friday before their intended Monday start date, in order to determine their level.
